Today we had a wonderful time celebrating Pancake Tuesday in Nursery! The children loved being bakers for the day, helping to use our four ingredients to make the pancake mixture.
We explored how the mixture changed as it cooked, watching it go from runny to firm. This helped the children learn about changes in materials and early scientific thinking.
And of course — the very best part was getting to eat our pancakes! Lots of happy faces all around.
