Nursery Making New Friends Through Shared Learning
Today it was our turn to welcome our new friends from All Saints’ Nursery to Fair Hill Nursery for our second shared education visit, and what a lovely day it was!
We began the morning with a story and drama session with Mr Hullabaloo, where the children enjoyed sharing Spring ?Themed stories, songs, and actions together. It was wonderful to see the children joining in, laughing, and learning alongside new friends.
After this, our children proudly had the opportunity to show and share our nursery, helping our visitors explore and play — and the beautiful weather made it an extra special experience. ??
We ended our visit by sharing lunchtime together, before waving goodbye to our friends as they headed back on their “big bus”. The children are already excited and can’t wait to see them again next week for our third trip!
These shared visits are a valuable experience for our children, helping them to:
- Build confidence and communication skills.
- Develop friendships and positive social interactions.
- Learn to welcome others and take pride in their own Nursery.
- Feel comfortable meeting new people in new situations.
It has been lovely to see the children growing in confidence with each visit, and we are very proud of how warmly they welcomed their new friends.
