Our Nursery children have been developing their confidence using our new outdoor climbing area. Our new climbing walls, net, and tunnel may look like just fun, but they’re building big skills too!
* Strength & Stability – climbing, crawling, and balancing strengthen arms and core, helping children get ready for sitting and writing.
* Brain Connections – cross-body movements link both sides of the brain, supporting coordination, concentration, and early literacy skills.
* Problem-Solving – children work out where to put hands and feet and find different ways to overcome challenges.
* Resilience & Confidence – tackling new challenges and feeling proud of their achievements.
So every climb, scramble, and balance is more than just play — it’s laying the foundations for future skills such as writing, problem-solving, and persistence.
