Meet your Pupil Council

4th Nov 2025
The pupil council have had their first meeting and there’s plenty of exciting things in the works. One of the first major events they’re planning is for World Kindness Day, where they’re looking at ways to spread positivity and kindness throughout the school. They’re also getting ready for Children in Need with some creative fundraising ideas that will hopefully get everyone involved.

Of course, one topic that always sparks lively debate at Pupil Council meetings is the lunch menu. The students are full of ideas and feedback, and there are a few suggestions they want to bring to Marjorie in the kitchen to help improve the options even further.

Another point the Council raised was about the school library. Many of the upper-year students are looking for more books in their reading levels, so they’re hoping to add a wider variety of titles to the collection. In fact, one of their ideas is to ask both pupils and parents to check at home for any AR books that might no longer be needed. They’d love for these books to be donated to the school library so they can be shared with others.

It’s great to see the Pupil Council already thinking ahead and working on ways to improve school life for everyone. Their energy and ideas are really inspiring!
