P3 had a wonderful day at Mourne Alpacas, a hidden gem on our doorstep. We learned about alpacas, their wool, and how it is used, enjoyed creating our own alpaca fleeces and even got to hand-feed some of the friendly alpacas.
The highlight of our visit was meeting the farm’s newest arrival, a baby cria just two days old. We were given the special privilege of naming him and proudly chose the name Ozzie.
A special thank you to Michelle and Christine, who were so kind, welcoming and organised throughout the day. Their enthusiasm and care made the experience extra special for everyone.
It was a memorable trip that P3 will be talking about for a long time.
