P2 pupils took their learning outdoors as part of their topic on birds. Working together, the children collected twigs and leaves to build bird nests, exploring how birds use natural materials in their environment. They also recorded counting in 2s and shared their ideas through outdoor mark-making. It was a fun, hands-on experience that encouraged teamwork, curiosity and a love of learning outside.
