Our P7 and P6/7 children have been working hard behind the scenes on an exciting project designing and creating their own businesses to create at a Spring Market. They used a variety of practical maths strategies to work out cost price per item and decide on the right price for their customers and were really successful.
They also kept their ICT Skills sharp with their use of AI on Microsoft co-pilot to design their own company logo which they printed off and displayed alongside their business name banners.
After a successful day of trading they emptied their pots and counted and totalled up their money making the accounts easier for Ena.
They are now using their negotiating skills to work out what exciting trip they would like to go on with their hard earned profits. We are really proud of the way they conducted themselves with the younger children. They were so kind and helpful.
