What a fantastic day we all had today. We started our journey on two buses that took us to All Saints’ Nursery. On the way we sang some songs and enjoyed spotting some of our houses on the way! When we reached All Saints’ Nursery we were greeted by all of our friends who came out to meet us at the gate. We found a friend and walked together into their Nursery. Inside our friends showed us their coat pegs and let us hang our coats with theirs. Inside the cloakroom we were very surprised to see all of our photographs on the wall. These were the photographs that we had posted to the girls and boys at All Saints’. Inside the classroom we had snack and enjoyed a wonderful day of playing and exploring together. We discovered that they have some toys that are the same as ours and some that are different. We got to make an Easter Basket and choose a special treat to bring home with us. We just loved getting to spend time outside in the beautiful weather. Outside they have a Sand Pit and a Mud Kitchen just like we do. There was so much to explore. We even got to use a real hammer and nails at their woodwork bench. We all enjoyed a picnic lunch together in the sun and then it was time to say goodbye and get back onto our buses. On the way home we had a few sleepyheads but we all agreed it had been just the “Best Day Ever!” .
