P3 explored the bold colours and playful shapes in Henri Matisse’s artwork and used these as inspiration for their own creations. Like Matisse they experimented with cutting, arranging and layering paper to make bright, expressive pictures. They learned that art does not have to be perfect - it can be full of movement, feeling and imagination.
