A Little Window Into Our Nursery Day
Routine is a big part of Nursery life – it helps children feel secure, develop independence, and build confidence in everyday tasks.
We are excited to share a series of short videos that give you a glimpse into these important routines and the amazing learning that happens through them. We want you see how capable and independent the children are becoming as they take responsibility and grow in confidence.
Our first Two Videos focus on Dinner Time – A Key Part of Our Nursery Day!
Personal, Social & Emotional Development
Children are learning to work alongside others, share, and take responsibility for themselves. They set their own tables, pour drinks, and use their knife and fork with growing confidence.
Physical Development
Handling cutlery, pouring drinks, and tidying up helps develop fine motor skills and coordination.
Language & Communication
Sitting together encourages conversation, listening skills, and learning new words as they talk about the foods they are eating.
Knowledge & Understanding of the World
Children explore different foods, learn about healthy choices, and develop good table manners.
Independence & Self-Management
After eating, they scrape their plates and help wipe tables – building responsibility and pride in their achievements.
We hope you enjoy watching and continue to support this learning at home.
Well done Boys and Girls. We are so proud of how capable and independent you are becoming!
