Today in P6/7 we were focusing on converting units. As it was a leap day and the sun was shining we took our maths outside to see how far we could leap!
The children got into groups and made predictions on how far they thought they could jump. After predictions were made, we went outside with the trundle wheels and put our predictions up to the test. We recorded our results and when we came back inside we looked at our findings and used these results to complete some unit of measurement conversions.
